NSG -save lives, riskes everything for India's pride
If there's anyone we need to thank to bring Mumbai out from the clutches of terror, it's the boys and men in uniform who became our walls and saviours. The men in black eliminated every terrorist holed in up there and even lost precious colleagues like Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and Commando Gajendra Singh.
In the days to come there will be much debate on the success and failures of Mission Mumbai. But there is one thing that is undisputed.
These brave commandos gave India its honour back. It's because of them that the nation stands taller and prouder.
Blame Game
Politicians at Centre & state have started playing blame games. This has started with Home minister shivraj Patil being sacked. Although people close to Congress chief insist that this was in offing for some time, but the sheer timing of this cannot be ignored. It is said that Congress has understood that the timing of the attack has come at a very crucial tme when the country is in pool mode.
New papers reported that in the recent CWC meeting poloticians tstarted the blame game again. When some body raised that the navy has failed to rise upoto the occasion when IB has clearly warned about coasted dployment of certain ships for downloading RDX & Otherstuff, Antony offered to resign.
Ratan Tata has been correct in his statement thatw e never learns from our mistakes. It has bene said that of the 900 odd crores alloted for putting anti terooor & emergency response team together only 275 crores are speant & that too on building, cars & Jeeps.
However we should not forget at this time the people who have laid thier lives. Front runners among them are the NSG commandoes , navy commondo, ATS team.
It has been rumoured that a team of personal body guards(southafricans) who were there in Taj have helped more than 40 people to get out while the terror was unfolding. It is reported that they were armed with only knives.
Let us once again give our tributes to the jawans who laid thier life to save us today & forever.
Amen!!!!!
